Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed and updated: March 12, 2026
As a company dedicated to making the web more accessible, we hold ourselves to the same standards we set for our clients. This statement outlines how we approach accessibility on denta11y.com and what you can expect from us.
Our Commitment
Denta11y is built on the belief that digital accessibility is a fundamental right, not a nice-to-have. We are committed to ensuring that our own website and application are accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We actively work to meet or exceed recognized accessibility standards, and we continuously improve the experience for all users regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort. If we fall short in any area, we want to hear about it so we can make it right.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to make web content more accessible. It defines three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.
Denta11y.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not yet fully conform to the standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance across every page and interaction.
Why partial conformance? We believe in honesty. As we continue to ship new features and content, some areas may temporarily lag behind our own standards. Rather than claim full conformance and risk misleading anyone, we openly disclose our current status and remediate known issues on a rolling basis.
Measures to Support Accessibility
Denta11y takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our website and product:
- Include accessibility as a core requirement in our design and development process, not an afterthought
- Assign clear responsibility for accessibility compliance to specific team members
- Provide ongoing accessibility training for our design and engineering staff
- Use semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and proper heading hierarchy throughout the site
- Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard accessible and have visible focus indicators
- Maintain sufficient color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds
- Provide text alternatives for all meaningful non-text content
- Test with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and other assistive technologies regularly
- Conduct automated accessibility audits on every deployment using industry-leading tools
